Many of you ask about the (white) New England Tree-Line ropes Karen often uses for groundwork and also for mecate reins. The rope is hard to find in the longer 24' lengths. We now offer them here. The ropes are hand-crafted with leather popper and fray-resistant coated ends, sold and supplied by Nichole Wiest of The Primitive Horse. Karen usually uses a 24ft length rope for groundwork, and the same length for mecate reins. She also uses the shorter 14ft length for other general purposes, or a longer 34ft rope for horses that needs that extra space.

Lead Ropes, Mecate Reins and Halters!
All equipment on this page is hand-crafted, sold and supplied by Nichole Wiest of The Primitive Horse. The stiffer halters that hold their shape for a consistent feel and allow you to offer a release on the bridge of the horse's nose will be available here soon! |
