Focus: When you and
your horse have
the same idea at the same time, the 'feel' goes both ways. Develop the state
of being in which true feel flourishes: full presence, sureness, clarity of
intent and meaningful inner energy. Free your horse's unguarded 'try' with a
partnership based on feel and release.
Understand the nuances in the meaning of release, vs. pressure-and-release,
the difference in feel from the horse's point of view, and the positive
effect on performance and partnership.

Focus: Your horse uses his
diagonals (a diagonal is the front and opposite hind foot) in most
maneuvers for balance and lightness. Ride those diagonals, and
develop balance for your comfort and your horse's over any terrain. Make the right thing easy!
Focus: Teach your horse to tune into how it feels when you ride the
actual maneuver in mind (e.g. straight!), without corrections borrowed from another
(e.g. left & right).
Clarity is everything!

Focus: When your foundation
connects with the way a maneuver you want feels to the horse you can shape him by
setting his feet where he needs them to be. His thought shapes up with yours -
now just release him!
Focus: Teach your horse to back up, stop on a float and
stand still for mounting and dismounting (even when unexpected...)
Focus: The best kept secret in horsemanship is in your horse's
shoulders; find out how to make use of this for a fabulous ride, and how
not to sabotage your ride unwittingly!
Focus: Do you have a challenge you keep running
into with bridling or bucking or picking up the "wrong" lead or......? We all
face things like this at times. This session focuses on why "it" happens and how
and what to adjust for a successful path forwards. Happy trails!
